Hello, my name is Dr. Melissa Ortiz Miranda. I am a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician from Puerto Rico. I have been practicing medicine as a primary care physician for the past 10 years, focusing on health care of the geriatric population and promoting health by the prevention and treatment of their chronic conditions. I became a physician because I enjoy caring for others. It is gratifying to help my patients achieve a healthy, happy life. I believe it is important to listen to the patient’s story; to better understand their health goals and encourage the active participation of our patients in their medical treatment to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
